New tires after 10,400 miles?

For reference, this was done on a 24 K5 GT Line FWD. I live in Phoenix, AZ. When the weather cools down, you normally need to add air to your tires. I received my yearly low pressure notice and had the tires filled up. When the shop measured the tread life, they informed me that I was at 6/32 all around and recommended a replacement at 5/32. Has anyone else had this happen? I was under the assumption that tires would last at least 30,000 miles.

2/32 or when they are at the wear marks. Tell them to GFT and never go back to that scam place.

Agreed, that place is a scam. Those tires are good to go.

Thanks! Good to know they’ll last long. Not sure if we have the same set but my car came with the Pirelli P Zero All Seasons.
