I have a 2023 Kia Seltos that I bought about 10 months ago. Recently, my voice command for navigation stopped working. It loads for about 10-15 seconds then shows an error message saying ‘could not connect to server.’ Does anyone know how to fix this Thanks!
To use this feature, make sure you have a strong signal to reach the server. Kia Access uses Verizon. If you’re on that, check that you have full bars. If you’re using your phone, you need at least 3 bars or the voice command won’t work. Kia and Hyundai systems can be very picky about this.
Did you find a solution for this I’m having the same issue with my 2023 Forte GT-Line. The voice works for calling contacts, but not for voice navigation anymore. If I try to tell it to go somewhere, it waits a few seconds then says ‘could not connect to server.’ I have full signal and I’m not parked under anything when I try.

No resolution yet.

I’m facing the same issue with the same car model. I can’t find a solution. It’s really annoying. Now I have to park the car and type my destination. It worked fine until about a month ago.

I had the same experience since I got it in October, but now it won’t accept voice navigation input. I keep checking KIA’s website for a software update, but the 2023 Forte GT-Line isn’t listed:
@Alexis
That’s frustrating. I’m going to contact my dealership to see if they can help. Good luck to you.
I’ve been having the same issue with my 2023 Seltos It’s so frustrating, and I can’t find any answers or ways to troubleshoot.
I have the same problem with my 2023 Kia K5 GT-Line. I’m going to try a factory reset of the system and then look for an update soon.

Did you have any luck with the reset
@Merritt
No luck with the reset Sorry
I have a 2022 Kia EV6, and I’ve been having the same issue for a couple of months. It used to work perfectly.

With so many of us having issues across different Kia models, it’s likely a software issue or Kia may be having server troubles that prevent communication with the car.
I keep checking this post to see if anyone has an answer. I emailed Kia last night about it but haven’t heard back yet.
