I parked my car legally on the street, left for a few hours, and came back to find my front bumper damaged and falling apart. Luckily, a police officer was nearby and already seemed to know what had happened. He told me that two other cars crashed and hit my parked car—one of the drivers was even going the wrong way.
I bought this car brand new just two months ago, so this is really frustrating. Hopefully, their insurance covers everything and the body shop does a good job with the repairs. Still, it’s disappointing and a huge inconvenience.
That’s really unfortunate, definitely an annoyance and an inconvenience. Remind yourself that, 5 years down the line, this will be an insignificant event in the grand scheme of things. I hope the issue gets resolved nicely for you OP
I hope it doesn’t take the body shop too long to fix it. Sorry it happened to you. I got into an accident and it took two months for them to replace my bumper.

What advice do you have for getting over it? Are you a robot that can’t deal with emotions? Someone scratched your car. Boo hoo. You have insurance, and it’s being fixed. You’ll live.
