I’m at 67,000 miles. I went into a store and my radio was working fine on the way there. When I tried to leave, the screen wouldn’t come on at all and Bluetooth, backup camera, and radio stopped working. The lights behind the buttons are still on. My fast charger port is not working but strangely the Android Auto port charges my phone and stops it from playing audio like it wants to play from the car speakers. I tried resetting the unit with the little button, checked all fuses, and even disconnected the battery for a few minutes to restart everything but it’s still completely off.
Small update: after a few days, today the screen’s backlight came on randomly. It stayed lit until I plugged my phone into the Android Auto port. The screen showed it was reading USB, then just turned off again. When I got home, I turned on the car and immediately put it into reverse, and the backup camera came on for about half a second before everything went off again.

Do you happen to have an electronic warranty It might be a loose connection somewhere Try unplugging the battery and plugging it back in too. If that doesn’t work, you can take the radio out yourself with a few screws There’s a video on YouTube showing how to take the radio out. Try reconnecting it that way and check the wires for power.

No, when I got the warranty they didn’t mention any tiers. They just sold me the best option and I didn’t realize what was not covered in the gold package.

We’ll be working on diagnostics in the coming days.

Did you figure out what the issue was I’m having the same problem.
Not yet. I reached out to a friend who knows someone at a Kia dealership who can help me get a special application to see what the problem is. It’s frustrating that KIA won’t help. When I called to ask about buying the part, they said I might not be able to because I’m just a regular person. They mentioned that if we went through a long process, I might be allowed to buy a part for $1,500 for the entire head unit. If nothing works in a couple of weeks, I can go to my brother’s place, and we’ll take apart the car to test everything we can.
@Paz
Hey, I started to have this issue two weeks ago Were you able to fix it without buying an entire unit I started checking fuses and nothing is working.

Yes, they basically told me that I might need to buy a whole new unit.
I’ll keep this updated as I learn more.
Any luck at all Mine is having the same exact issue All my safety lights are orange and every one is lit USB ports, windows, radio, nothing is working.
