Has anyone experienced issues with the AC not blowing at all in their Kia K5?

I have a 2022 model with 55k miles, and the AC stops working completely. However, if I press down hard on the fuse box, it turns on again. I’m scheduled for a complete blower and AC replacement under warranty tomorrow, but parts are back-ordered for a month.

It seems like this might be a common issue. Removing the fuse hasn’t helped, and the fuse itself looks fine.

Does anyone have any insights or fixes for this? It’s 90 degrees out, and I have a kid to keep cool.

Just received this in the mail, but I haven’t had any issues with my 2022 GT1 so far.

Which model years does that include?

It’s funny; I got the same thing in the mail a few days ago. I have a 2022 model with 30,000 miles on it, and so far, I haven’t had any issues with my AC… at least not yet.

Same here with my 2024 GT—I haven’t had this issue. From what I understand, it only affects certain K5 models with the 1.6T engine.

I shared that YouTube link for @Grayson who was asking about the problem.

Ah, I see what you mean. I’m not sure if he’ll get a notification when you reply to my comment. I could be wrong, though.
