Best Fitting Trash Can for K5?

Has anyone found a trash can that actually fits in their K5? The door cup holders have such a weird shape!

I got one with straps that can wrap around the passenger headrest and fit in that space in the back.

Yeah, those door holders really annoy me.

What’s wrong with the hinges that bother you? Seems a bit… unhinged.

I’m referring to the cup holders for water bottles, lol. You can only fit certain sizes without having to force them in, and they’re at an awkward angle. I love my car, but that’s definitely annoying. I don’t think I ever mentioned hinges, but nice observation! I’m definitely feeling a bit unhinged today.

Lol, I got what you meant. The water bottle slot is pretty small, which makes it useful but also a bit restrictive. I totally get your frustration.

Mine hangs from the back of the passenger seat.

I don’t think there are cup holders in the doors. Actually, I saw a little symbol showing a drink with a :no_entry_sign: in the middle.

Edit: Never mind. I just checked, and the symbol actually indicates you can only use a bottle with a cap, not a cup, lol :slightly_smiling_face:

If it’s paper, I put it temporarily in the middle console by the USB plugs. For cups or other food items, I keep them in the food bag they came in until I can find a place to dispose of them. I generally avoid keeping trash in the car by following a simple rule: “If it goes in, it comes out.” This method has worked pretty well for me so far.

The door panel areas are like voids where I’ll always forget things if I put them there, so I try to avoid using them unless it’s just for a temporary bottle.

As someone who used to always have trash in their car, this “if it goes in, it comes out” rule really helps prevent clutter from building up.
