My fuel door remains unlocked even when the car is locked. Does anyone know how to fix it, or is taking it to the dealership the best option?

It’s an actuator. I had the dealer disable it, so I need to bring it in. This is a known issue.
I had 60 miles of gas remaining, and the dealer squeezed me in and opened it in 10 minutes. It just opened, but I need to have it corrected.

I’m not locked out, it won’t lock at all. But if they fixed it being locked they should be able to fix my problem

Yeah, it’s the same part/issue and they can fix it If the have the part in. Luckily yours wasn’t fully locked like mine

My 23 doesn’t have that compartment in the trunk, I’m gonna have to take it in most likely

Ah bummer. I have a ‘21 figured they all had that compartment. I know this issue falls under the warranty though.
